Senior Data Engineer

DoubleVerify, a global leader in digital media quality and performance, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for their Scibids AI division in Paris, France. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining data pipelines that power Scibids' AI-driven digital campaign optimization technology.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Create ETL jobs to process and integrate data from various partners, handling millions of rows in formats like CSV, Avro, and Parquet.
• Contribute to reverse ETL development for uploading Scibids models.
• Develop APIs and libraries to facilitate inter-team communication.
• Work with a tech stack including Python, Prefect, and Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Datastore, Cloud Run).

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages, with proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with large datasets, distributed systems, and developing large software systems
• A commitment to simple, efficient coding (KISS principle)
• Interest in continuous learning and technology trends in data engineering
