Staff Software Engineer

DoubleVerify is a leading software platform for digital media measurement, data and analytics. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll own new initiatives, designs, and the development of critical pieces of application code powering our new suite of social tools. You'll ensure industry-leading scalability, reliability, and security of distributed processes and services for these applications. You'll apply state-of-the-art technologies, frameworks, and strategies to address complex challenges with moving information from big data systems to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing ownership and technical leadership on high-impact projects
• Facilitating team collaboration and alignment on project goals
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and enhancing large-scale software solutions
• Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables

We're looking for someone with:

• 7-8 years of experience in server-side software development
• Strong focus on API design, data modeling, and complex service-based systems
• Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems
• Expertise in REST API design, data modeling, and database design
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Python and Python-centric frameworks
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor development teams

Additional preferred skills include experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, and knowledge of ad serving technologies.
