DoubleVerify, a leading software platform for digital media measurement, data, and analytics, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Social Integrations. This role involves owning new initiatives, designing and building world-class platforms to measure and optimize ad performance. You'll ensure scalability and reliability of mission-critical systems processing billions of real-time transactions daily. The position requires architecting and building application pipelines handling tens of TBs/Day, mentoring a team of engineers, exploring new technologies for data processing and analysis, and designing scalable data-driven products and APIs. You'll work in multi-functional agile teams, bridge the gap between business requirements and technical details, and continuously improve SDLC processes. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of programming experience, 3+ years in distributed systems, and a deep understanding of big data technologies. Experience with cloud environments, container technologies, and ad serving technologies is a plus. This role offers a competitive salary range of $118,000 - $230,000, along with bonus/commission, equity, and benefits. - Architect, design and build application pipelines handling tens of TBs/Day, serving thousands of clients and supports advanced analytic workloads
- Mentor a team of motivated engineers
- Explore new technologies for data processing and analysis
- Design, develop, and test data-driven products, features, and APIs that scale
- Continuously improve the quality of deliverables and SDLC processes
- Operate production environments, investigate issues, and come up with feasible solutions
- Understand business needs and work with product owners to establish priorities
- Bridge the gap between Business / Product requirements and technical details
- Work in multi-functional agile teams with end-to-end responsibility for product development and delivery
Requirements For Staff Software Engineer - Social Integrations
- 8+ years of programming experience in coding, object-oriented design and/or functional programming
- 3+ years of experience working in distributed systems like Hadoop, Big Query, Spark, Kafka Eco System
- Hands-on experience building low latency, high-throughput APIs
- Excellent SQL query writing abilities and data understanding
- Experience with DevOps domain - working with build servers, docker and containers clusters (Kubernetes)
- Experience in Mentoring and growing a diverse team of talented data engineers
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
