Description For Solutions Engineer, EMEA

DroneDeploy, the leading provider of reality capture software, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their EMEA team. This role represents a unique opportunity to work with the #1 player in the reality capture industry, helping transform how construction, oil and gas, and renewable energy companies operate.

The position combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring someone who can effectively demonstrate DroneDeploy's solutions while taking a consultative approach with customers. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the primary industry and solutions resource for the EMEA sales and customer teams, working directly under the Manager of EMEA.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in SaaS and enterprise solutions. You'll need to be based in the London metropolitan area and be willing to spend significant time (4+ days/week) in the London office. The role involves substantial travel (up to 50%) across EMEA and occasionally to the USA.

Responsibilities For Solutions Engineer, EMEA

  • Consult with existing and prospective customers to identify reality capture program needs
  • Work with Customer Success team to grow customers and accelerate adoption
  • Conduct analysis to determine best solutions for business problems
  • Liaise with global SE Team for best practices
  • Collaborate with sales team on demonstrations and RFP responses
  • Assist with post-sales technical process
  • Partner with Marketing for EMEA specific events
  • Develop mastery of DroneDeploy solutions

Requirements For Solutions Engineer, EMEA

  • 6+ years of field experience in similar role or program/operations management
  • Prior experience with SaaS company
  • Must obtain A2 CofC UAV pilot's license
  • Able to travel 50% of time
  • Located in London-metropolitan area
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong experience mentoring and managing teams
  • Work Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 6:00PM UK time
