DRW, a prominent trading firm, is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to spearhead the data infrastructure development for their mid-frequency systematic trading strategy. The position demands a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of experience in building data-intensive platforms, particularly in the trading industry. As the lead Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting and implementing robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and maintaining the data platform that powers the firm's quantitative systematic trading operations. You'll work closely with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers to understand and fulfill data requirements for multi-asset systematic strategies.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers in identifying data needs for multi-asset systematic strategy group
- Lead the build out of industry leading data sets for trading mid-frequency systematic strategies
- Lead the implementation of data sourcing strategy and robust data pipelines and data quality management
- Own all data needs for trading purposes and implement processes to deliver timely and accurate data sets
- Design and develop features using proprietary or industry standard models
- Support the trading desk enabling daily efficient operation
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience building data intensive platforms
- Prior experience working in a trading team with in-depth understanding of markets
- Prior experience sourcing and building high quality data sets for systematic strategies
- Experience collaborating with Research teams and Quants
- Experience implementing modern data pipelines and data lakes
- Must work well in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of high-level machine learning concepts (preferred)
- Experience dealing with unstructured data (preferred)
