The Desktop Systems Engineering team is the front line of support for all users across the firm, working with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing end-user support, configuring workstations and mobile devices, troubleshooting desktop managed servers, and driving innovation for user-impacting technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical aptitude, a passion for technology, and the ability to manage projects independently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support in Chicago corporate office and exchange floors
- Build, configure, and upgrade workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and maintain desktop managed servers
- Handle user provisioning (accounts, mobile devices, VPN, permissions)
- Support conference room technologies
- Automate repetitive system administration tasks
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of MEMCM/SCCM administration experience
- Strong experience with Windows 10 configuration and support
- Knowledge of application packaging and management
- Proficiency in Group Policy management
- PowerShell experience
- Passion for technology and motivation to grow within the organization
- Project management skills
Nice-to-have skills:
- Intune management experience
- macOS or Linux support experience
- Windows Server and Active Directory support
- Scripting or low-level programming experience
