The company has expanded into real estate, venture capital, and cryptoassets.

The Observability team plays a crucial role in managing centralized logging, metrics, and tracing tools throughout the firm. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that combines technical challenges with continuous learning.

As an Observability Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical monitoring tools, developing automation for administrative tasks, and helping teams implement effective observability practices. You'll work with various teams to optimize data usage through dashboards and alerting systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with logging and monitoring tools, automation capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of tools like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and Kubernetes is highly valued. Responsibilities For Observability Engineer

  • Provide support for suite of applications
  • Troubleshoot production system incidents and create postmortem artifacts
  • Develop automation for administrative tasks
  • Test and automate application upgrades
  • Improve logging, monitoring and alerting practices
  • Work with vendor support to resolve third-party issues
  • Promote good observability practices across teams
  • Help teams with data ingestion and dashboard creation

Requirements For Observability Engineer

Kubernetes
  • 5+ years of industry experience using logging and monitoring tools
  • Coding experience for task automation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and workflows
  • Experience with git or other version control systems
  • Drive to improve workflows
  • Complex problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
