DRW is a well-established trading firm with over 30 years of experience in global markets. Operating from Chicago with offices across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, DRW trades various asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities, and Energy. The firm has expanded into real estate, venture capital, and cryptoassets.

The MASS (Multi-Asset Systematic Strategies) desk is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join their team in either New York or Palo Alto. This role combines sophisticated technology with trading expertise, requiring someone who can build robust systematic trading infrastructure while working closely with portfolio managers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the financial industry, particularly in systematic trading and quantitative analysis. You'll be responsible for developing industry-leading infrastructure, implementing trading strategies, and ensuring high system reliability. Your expert-level Python skills will be essential, and C++ knowledge is a plus.

The position offers a competitive base salary range of $175,000 to $225,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus. Requirements For Quantitative Developer

Python
  • Minimum 5 years experience at a multi-manager hedge fund or investment bank
  • Experience working on a systematic trading desk
  • Experience building real-time analytics and trading system components
  • Experience building quantitative models and analytics
  • Experience building tech infrastructure for observability and recovery
  • Understanding of equities and futures market structure and market data
  • Expert-level Python programming skills
  • C++ experience (preferred)
