Senior Systems Reliability Engineer

DRW is seeking a Senior Systems Reliability Engineer to join their Fixed Income Commodities and Currency Options (FICCO) and Cumberland team in Chicago or London. This role involves designing and supporting highly available systems within a technologically diverse stack used for global research and trading of FICCO and Cryptoassets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with FICCO and Cumberland technology and trading teams on CI/CD processes
• Troubleshooting software build issues and optimizing packaging processes
• Automating deployment processes to improve efficiency
• Implementing and managing infrastructure as code tools
• Maintaining, designing, and troubleshooting the observability stack
• Driving initiatives to modernize environments using cloud and container tools
• Consistently challenging the norm and advocating for change

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
• Strong expertise with observability tools (Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana, Sentry, OpenTelemetry)
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ software builds and packaging
• Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Concourse, Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible)
• Skills in Docker and Kubernetes
• Linux experience with Debian and Redhat-based systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
