Description For Mechanical Inspection Engineer
Durrah Advanced Development Co is seeking a Mechanical Inspection Engineer to join their team in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on design, implementation, and follow-up of predictive and preventive maintenance programs in the plant. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in PDM/PM maintenance, engineering, process control, and reliability in a manufacturing facility. The position requires expertise in vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and various NDT tests. You'll be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, implementing maintenance programs, and improving overall equipment efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to work with critical systems and contribute to the plant's operational excellence. The position requires Saudi nationals with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently. You'll be part of a team dedicated to maintaining and improving plant operations through proactive maintenance strategies and technical innovation.
Responsibilities For Mechanical Inspection Engineer
- Establish and continually improve a PDM & PM program that includes vibration analysis, thermography and ultrasound
- Ensure all critical equipment and utility systems have effective PDM & PM programs in place
- Understand hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical concepts and ability to troubleshoot problems
- Interpret all levels of drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications
- Supply technical assistance to constantly improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
- Coordinate efforts between plant and corporate personnel to achieve proactive maintenance best practices
- Create and improve PDM / PM procedures
- Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- Establish / Following up Shutdown plan
- Following up with the Shutdown spare parts availability
- Doing RCA procedures for the breakdown's equipment
- Familiar with down time records & reliability factor calculations
- Carryout all NDT tests and preparing related reports
- Follow up condition of equipment, wear / tear and shore measurement
- Coordinate / Highlighting critical spare parts
- Create notification and maintenance order
Requirements For Mechanical Inspection Engineer
- Mechanical Engineering or related field degree
- Saudi Nationality
- Sound understanding of PDM techniques and PDM experience preferred
- Must have acceptable safety, attendance and work records
- Ability to effectively train others in PDM practices
- Working knowledge of CMRP
- Strong troubleshooting skills and logic to solve problems to root cause
- Proactive and self-motivated to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Experience using AutoCAD and MS Office
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) SAP preferably
