Jr. Access Network Maintenance Engineer

Earthlinktele, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Iraq, is seeking a Jr. Access Network Maintenance Engineer to join their Network Operations Center team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a BSc in Computer Science, Telecom Engineering, or related fields, with 0-1 years of experience in Engineering, ISP, or Telecom Maintenance roles.

The Jr. Access Network Maintenance Engineer will support and assist Operations Maintenance Engineers in handling basic tasks related to network maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in resolving basic service problems from repeater to end-user
2. Ensuring timely resolution of network faults and tickets
3. Providing solutions in line with Service Level Agreements and Health and Safety requirements
4. Utilizing knowledge of networking devices, wireless networking, microwave radio, Ethernet, and fiber optics
5. Monitoring network elements and tracking outage conditions
6. Handling customer ticket requests and maintaining high customer satisfaction rates
7. Checking and maintaining fiber links and implementing backup solutions
