As part of Ebury's strategic growth plan, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining Ebury's Data Warehouse. You'll work collaboratively with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Analysts to build ETLs, data pipelines, and develop data models. Your responsibilities include optimizing data platforms, implementing data governance policies, and automating processes to enhance data accessibility and quality. You'll use tools like Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, Docker, dbt, and Looker. Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer

  • Establish performance monitoring for data processing and analysis
  • Participate in data modelling reviews and discussions
  • Work on reducing technical debt

Requirements For Senior Data Engineer

Python
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts
  • Basic understanding of data governance practices
  • Experience with software engineering practices in data
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality
  • Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
