Senior Platform Engineer

Ebury, a leading FinTech company, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As part of our platform engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our platform meets customer needs and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring high availability and reliability of our systems
• Developing and maintaining monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting processes
• Utilizing observability tools to improve system performance
• Designing and implementing automation tools
• Participating in on-call rotations
• Collaborating with development teams on scalability and reliability
• Designing and implementing new systems and services

We're looking for candidates with:

• Several years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture (GCP or AWS)
• Experience with containerized systems on Kubernetes and Amazon Container Services
• Deep understanding of programming languages (Python preferred)
• Passion for architecting scalable systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
