Ecosystem is seeking a Construction Engineer to join their team that integrates engineering and construction to tackle energy and decarbonization challenges in the built environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in construction management and HVAC/mechanical construction.

The role involves overseeing construction operations at higher-education facilities, managing subcontractors and stakeholders, and driving project success from design to completion. You'll be responsible for resolving technical challenges, managing scope changes, and ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities For Construction Engineer

  • Oversee on-site construction operations, managing subcontractors, client, and stakeholders at higher-education facilities
  • Drive project success in an integrated team from design to completion
  • Manage and resolve technical challenges on-site
  • Navigate change/scope creep while balancing costs, budgets schedules, and people
  • Propose, estimate, and present project upgrades to the client
  • Understand energy performance measures before implementation

Requirements For Construction Engineer

  • 5+ years of construction management/project manager/project engineer experience
  • Experience in HVAC or mechanical construction
  • Strong communication skills in English

  • Quick critical thinking ability under pressure
  • Top-notch organizational skills
  • Resourceful and excellent judgment
