Senior Automation Engineer

Editorialist is a company that combines personal styling, editorial content, and shopping into a seamless digital experience. They are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to develop the automation framework and integrate it with the CICD pipeline. The role involves working closely with both Dev and Manual QA teams to reduce testing effort to 0 manual working hours.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up QA automation and performance testing infrastructure for iOS applications
• Meeting with software design and QA teams to discuss verification protocols
• Troubleshooting automation software issues
• Executing tests as part of the CICD pipeline
• Preparing detailed test reports
• Conducting performance testing of UI and microservices
• Mentoring junior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 4-5.5 years of experience in QA automation (UI and Backend API)
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured/Apache HTTP Client
• UI automation experience using Selenium, Java, TestNG
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with RDBMS like MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Elastic Search, Kafka, Apache Storm is preferred
• Understanding of Web Services - JSON/XML data format
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
