eero is seeking a highly proficient, hands-on WiFi System Development Engineer to enhance the connectivity efficiency and experience of their devices and clients. The role involves improving mesh and client connectivity, designing new features, and ensuring a great connectivity experience for end users. Key responsibilities include:

• Enhancing client connectivity and mesh experiences for eero's whole home connectivity products
• Taking various client connectivity performance to next levels
• Analyzing connectivity problems and developing complete solutions
• Diving deep into embedded system internals
• Improving wireless drivers, firmware, and hostap components
• Driving decisions about testing improvements
• Working with core operating system, mobile, and cloud teams to deliver features
• Maintenance work on regulatory settings, board settings, tools, and scripts

The role offers opportunities to learn about the WiFi stack and contribute to various components, with direct hands-on experience with hardware while developing software. Team members work closely to provide the best customer experience, owning the entire process from design to development to quality assurance with dedicated labs.
