Software Quality Engineer (Typescript/Playwright/Cypress)

We are looking for Software Quality Engineers who would be responsible for creating and executing test plans before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and work in an Agile environment in a multi-disciplined team. The ideal candidate will develop and create significant coverage of automation testing of software applications within an existing framework. This position requires both automation and manual testing (where features are not yet covered by automation).

As a Software Quality Engineer at Egen, you will:

• Build out test suites and test cases for functional and non-functional tests
• Provide manual release support where needed
• Debug Infrastructure-as-Code
• Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders
• Troubleshoot in a distributed cloud environment
• Automate manual processes
• Debug production issues and update regressions
• Contribute to best practices and innovation in the Quality Engineering Organization

We're looking for candidates with:

• A degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Strong skills in Typescript and JavaScript
• Experience with modern automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Familiarity with agile and CI/CD environments
