Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Systems

  • Own thermal subsystems development and optimization using custom TECs, heatsinks, fabrics, and thermal regulation strategies
  • Architect and design products through ideation, CAD, rapid prototyping, and iteration
  • Perform thermal and fluid analyses using simulation tools and validate designs with lab testing
  • Partner with suppliers in Asia for DFM/DFA and oversee build processes
  • Support general mechanical design including plastic enclosures, metal stamping, and soft goods integration

Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Systems

Python
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and thermal management
  • Experience shipping high-volume consumer products, including manufacturing support in Asia
  • Highly proficient in CAD (Solidworks, NX, Creo), DFM/DFA, and GD&T
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals, thermal instrumentation, DOEs
  • Highly proficient in data analysis techniques (Python, Matlab)
  • BSME or equivalent (MS preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel to China as needed
