Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Systems
- Own thermal subsystems development and optimization using custom TECs, heatsinks, fabrics, and thermal regulation strategies
- Architect and design products through ideation, CAD, rapid prototyping, and iteration
- Perform thermal and fluid analyses using simulation tools and validate designs with lab testing
- Partner with suppliers in Asia for DFM/DFA and oversee build processes
- Support general mechanical design including plastic enclosures, metal stamping, and soft goods integration
Requirements For Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Systems
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and thermal management
- Experience shipping high-volume consumer products, including manufacturing support in Asia
- Highly proficient in CAD (Solidworks, NX, Creo), DFM/DFA, and GD&T
- Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals, thermal instrumentation, DOEs
- Highly proficient in data analysis techniques (Python, Matlab)
- BSME or equivalent (MS preferred)
- Willingness and ability to travel to China as needed
