Responsibilities For IT Infrastructure Engineer
- Lead projects through full systems lifecycle
- Identify hardware and software requirements of complex systems
- Provide expert knowledge of system architecture
- Monitor and ensure uptime of IT services
- Troubleshoot challenges and provide solutions
- Implement defined processes and procedures
- Mentor and train team members
- Create and maintain systems design documentation
- Review performance and trends of IT systems
- Direct implementation of new/upgraded information systems
- Assist with vendor negotiations and purchases
- Assist in SOX compliance activities
- Design and maintain disaster recovery infrastructure
- Point of escalation for technical troubleshooting
Requirements For IT Infrastructure Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in information technology (or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience)
- 7+ years in systems administration or cloud engineering in an IT global environment
- Thorough knowledge of cloud/SaaS, server, storage, virtualization, messaging, systems management, mobile, networking and end-user computing systems
- Extensive knowledge of IT monitoring & security systems in cyber, IoT and network
- Preferred certifications: MCSA/MCSE, VCP, AWS/Azure/GC, CCNA/CCNP, and ITIL
