Senior Unity Engineer (Contract)

Ello is revolutionizing children's education through AI technology, seeking a Senior Unity Engineer to join their mission of maximizing the potential of all children. This contract position (6+ months) offers an opportunity to work on Read with Ello, an AI reading teacher that listens to children read out loud.

The role is based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a hybrid work arrangement, offering compensation between $4-8k/month depending on seniority. You'll be joining a rapidly-growing, 40-person startup at the intersection of gaming and education, working with a dedicated Unity team of 4 members.

As a Senior Unity Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and optimizing interactive applications that bring Ello to life. The role involves creating engaging experiences for young readers while collaborating with ML, design, animation, and platform teams. The position requires strong expertise in Unity, mobile development, and a willingness to dive deeper into the systems stack for ML collaboration.
