Description For Software QA Engineer

Empatica is seeking a Software QA Engineer passionate about their mission to ensure the quality of life-saving medical-grade devices. The role involves designing and executing manual and automatic tests for new features, hunting down bugs, and assessing the quality of app releases. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing, an IT background, and experience in mobile testing for iOS and Android. They will work in an international environment with a hybrid work model, collaborating with a diverse team of 120+ talented individuals. Key Responsibilities: • Perform tests on mobile platforms connected to wireless wearable devices • Design and implement automation test scenarios • Validate product functionalities and report issues • Work with the product team on release and testing plans • Support the growth of Quality culture within Empatica

Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing • IT background with understanding of computer systems • Experience in mobile testing for iOS and Android • Ability to collaborate with developers and use scripts/automations • Experience with firmware testing and embedded devices is a plus • Knowledge of web and API testing • Experience in regulated environments (medical, automotive, aerospace, finance) is beneficial
