EMW, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Technical Engineer for a contract position at The Hague, Netherlands. This role is part of the Transform branch of the NCSC, focusing on establishing and maintaining robust cybersecurity architecture and solutions. The position requires 100% on-site presence and runs from May 5, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the NCSC solution architecture service and providing cybersecurity planning and design across various projects. Working within the Transform Branch and reporting to the Solutions and Roadmap Service head, you'll be responsible for establishing architecture service delivery, ensuring cybersecurity coherence, and providing expert guidance on various security implementations.

This position requires a strong background in cybersecurity, with at least 8 years of experience in architectural methodology and design principles. The role demands expertise in multiple security domains, including PKI, Cloud Security, IAM, and Zero Trust architectures. You'll work independently while collaborating with NCSC architects and SMEs to deliver comprehensive security solutions.

Requirements For C004117 Cyber Security Technical Engineer (NS)

  • Active NATO SECRET security clearance required
  • Master's of Science (MSc) degree with 8 years experience or Bachelor's of Science (BSc) degree with 11 years experience
  • Relevant certifications preferred (CISM, CISSP, or GIAC Security)
  • Extensive knowledge in architectural methodology and design principles (8+ years)
  • TOGAF and Archimate experience desired
  • Good understanding of cyber security principles and best practices
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English
  • Extensive knowledge in at least three domains: PKI, Cloud Security, IAM, Security Monitoring, Zero Trust, Incident Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Threat Hunting, Crypto Management, Boundary Protection
