EMW, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer with NATO SECRET clearance for their facility in Braine-L'Alleud, Belgium. This role focuses on critical infrastructure and communications systems for NATO operations. The position requires expertise in mobile infrastructure, satellite communications (SATCOM), or wireless communications technologies.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Principal Engineer, taking significant initiative in supporting acquisition projects and providing technical leadership. The role involves working with cutting-edge communications technologies, including deployable CIS, SATCOM systems, and wireless communications platforms.
Key responsibilities include system engineering, technical specification development, and solution architecture maintenance. The position requires strong technical expertise in digital communications, networking protocols, and infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
This is a contract position running from April 2025 to December 2025, requiring 100% on-site presence. Responsibilities For Senior Engineer (NS)
- Provide technical support to acquisition projects
- Prepare technical specifications and support evaluation processes
- Take part in scientific programs and projects
- Provide technical contributions to mobile infrastructure, SATCOM, or wireless communications
- Give scientific briefings and presentations
- Maintain documentation and Solution Architectures for NATO Capabilities
- Plan, design, and system engineer C4ISR Deployable Communications and Information Systems
- Support Satellite Communications Systems and Infrastructure
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in Mobile Infrastructure, SATCOM, or Wireless Communications
Requirements For Senior Engineer (NS)
- Active NATO SECRET security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
- Knowledge of modern digital communication networking techniques, protocols and standards
- Experience with communication networks specification, design and testing, with emphasis on IP networks
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Services and virtualization technologies
- Experience in laboratory and field trials planning, execution and evaluation
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
