EnerMech, a leading specialist engineering services company, is seeking a Crane Service Engineer for an offshore position. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing crane operations in complex energy and infrastructure projects.

As a Crane Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of offshore cranes, particularly Liebherr pedestal cranes. Your main duties will include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing spare parts inventory, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with lifting equipment and offshore pedestal cranes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis are essential. You should also be comfortable with continuous improvement techniques to optimize crane availability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities For Crane Service Engineer - Offshore

  • Follow and comply with all HSSE requirements
  • Perform all preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Manage inventory of spare parts
  • Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge
  • Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment
  • Perform planned maintenance activities
  • Maintain and repair cranes and auxiliary equipment
  • Coordinate scheduled activities with local Operations management
  • Maintain the Preventive Maintenance system and records
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
  • Deploy continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques
  • Identify mechanical handling maintenance risks and escalate potential issues

Requirements For Crane Service Engineer - Offshore

  • BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent diploma
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience working on lifting equipment and accessories and Offshore pedestal cranes (Liebherr)
  • English proficiency in verbal and written communication, intermediate level
  • Relevant crane and lifting equipment maintenance and trade records
