Description For Hydraulic Engineer

The company is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to join their Engineering team in Aberdeen, specifically supporting the Cranes & Lifting Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, handling projects from initial kick-off to final deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technical work scopes, collaborating with project teams, and developing innovative design solutions. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Lead Engineers, and various stakeholders while managing relationships with third-party suppliers and contractors. The position requires a degree in Hydraulics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, along with strong time management and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities For Hydraulic Engineer

  • Delivery of technical work scopes
  • Contributing to teams of Project Manager, Lead, Senior & Project Engineers
  • Managing communication with 3rd party suppliers, sub-contractors and EnerMech service departments
  • Providing innovative designs to solve client needs
  • Being involved in the testing of unit designs

Requirements For Hydraulic Engineer

  • Degree qualified in Hydraulics or Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification with relevant experience
  • Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities
