Description For Project Engineer-Process and Pipelines

EnerMech is a leading specialist engineering services company delivering integrated solutions for complex energy and infrastructure projects and operating assets. We are seeking a Project Engineer-Process and Pipelines for a contract position in Qatar. The role requires sound experience in Process services such as chemical cleaning, Lube oil flushing, CWS passivation, N2/He Leak testing, Chemical Cleaning, Hydro-jetting, Air blowing, Pipeline Pre-commissioning and commissioning etc. at both onshore and Offshore fields projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering assigned projects efficiently and on time
  • Controlling projects in terms of deliverables and budgets
  • Performing multi-discipline coordination of engineering
  • Managing operational and financial activities
  • Maintaining project resource schedules
  • Identifying and communicating project risks
  • Acting as a client representative on-site

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Higher National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
  • Valid OGUK Survival and Medical certification
  • Project management qualification (preferred)
  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • ASME Certifications (preferred)
  • Diploma/Certification in Process engineering (preferred)
  • Proficiency in software tools like Blue beam, AFT arrows, AutoCAD, MS-office

Responsibilities For Project Engineer-Process and Pipelines

  • Deliver assigned projects efficiently and on time
  • Control projects in terms of deliverables and budgets
  • Perform multi-discipline coordination of engineering
  • Manage operational and financial activities
  • Maintain project resource schedules
  • Identify and communicate project risks
  • Act as a client representative on-site
  • Prepare technical requirements and tendering documents
  • Lead evaluation and clarification of ITT (Invitation to tender)
  • Perform site surveys and lead site work scopes

Requirements For Project Engineer-Process and Pipelines

  • Higher National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
  • Valid OGUK Survival and Medical certification
  • Project management qualification (preferred)
  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • ASME Certifications (preferred)
  • Diploma/Certification in Process engineering (preferred)
  • Proficiency in software tools like Blue beam, AFT arrows, AutoCAD, MS-office
