Video Streaming Engineer / Media Software Developer

This position requires hands-on experience with video streaming protocols, FFmpeg, and media frameworks, as well as an in-depth understanding of ensuring an optimal user experience across platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in developing and optimizing video streaming solutions using HLS, FFmpeg, and related technologies
• Troubleshooting and resolving common streaming issues
• Contributing to video encoding and decoding workflows for various platforms
• Collaborating with software developers, QA engineers, and support teams
• Working with streaming protocols like HLS, RTMP, and WebRTC
• Supporting the development and maintenance of media APIs and integration projects
• Staying informed about advancements in video streaming technology
• Ensuring scalable and reliable media delivery solutions

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies like HLS and FFmpeg
• Intermediate programming skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript
• Understanding of video and audio codecs
• Experience or coursework with media frameworks (GStreamer, OpenCV, or VLC) is a plus
