Cloud Engineer

Entain Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role focuses on designing and supporting highly available cloud platforms for customer-facing and corporate systems. The Cloud Team handles massive scale operations, particularly during events like Spring Carnival, managing hundreds of servers and thousands of service instances. The position offers a flexible hybrid working model and can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (particularly Terraform), containerization with Docker, and Kubernetes. You'll be responsible for designing scalable systems, implementing monitoring solutions, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. The role involves both individual contribution and team collaboration, with opportunities for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
