Description For Native Engineer

As a Core Platform Engineer at Entain, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of the Ladbrokes and Neds platforms. This position focuses on developing and enhancing core capabilities that enable team success, ensuring scalability and reliability across systems. The role involves creating robust internal tools, libraries, and frameworks while implementing architectural improvements to streamline development processes.

The position offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, allowing two days per week in the office across various locations in Australia and New Zealand. You'll be responsible for developing internal tools, maintaining shared libraries, implementing architectural enhancements, and advocating for mobile platform best practices.

Key responsibilities include creating frameworks to enhance productivity, maintaining scalable libraries, identifying optimization opportunities, and mentoring other engineers. The ideal candidate should have experience in mobile development (iOS/Android), strong architectural design skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Requirements For Native Engineer

Kotlin
  • Experience in building and maintaining tooling and internal libraries

  • Commercial experience in iOS, SwiftUI, and/or Android, Jetpack Compose

  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
