Responsibilities For Access Management Developer (Okta)
- Design and implement robust IAM solutions leveraging Okta's capabilities
- Configure and customize Okta to enforce strong authentication and authorization policies
- Develop custom integrations with applications and systems using Okta's APIs and SDKs
- Implement single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions
- Automate user provisioning and de-provisioning processes
- Integrate Okta with HR systems and other identity sources
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC)
- Conduct regular access reviews and certifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta configurations and integrations
- Provide technical support to end-users and IT teams
- Monitor system performance and identify potential security threats
- Stay current with the latest Okta features, best practices, and security trends
Requirements For Access Management Developer (Okta)
Python
- Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and principles
- Hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud and its core functionalities
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and API integrations
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect protocols
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
