Responsibilities For AWS Platform Engineer
- Develop and maintain platforms using AWS services
- Deploy Windows and Linux servers following infrastructure as code and DevSecOps practices
- Use configuration management tooling to automate deployment and configuration
- Deploy and administer Container Orchestration environments
- Deploy and maintain Container based solutions
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Peer review code
- Contribute to engineering community and improve practices
Requirements For AWS Platform Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Outstanding English communication
- Experience with AWS well architected framework
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
- Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience with Container Orchestration (EKS, AKS, OpenShift)
- Experience with Container technologies (Helm, Harbour)
- Experience with Build & Release Automation (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, SonarQube)
- Experience with Python, Bash, Powershell, Go
- Experience with Git and distributed source control
- Experience in enterprise integration patterns
- AWS Solution Architect certification required
