Envision Employment Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join one of their partner companies, a global leader in the chemical industry. This role is perfect for an experienced data professional who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructure and pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics. They will play a crucial role in ensuring data reliability, security, and accessibility for analytics and business intelligence purposes. The position requires a strong foundation in ETL processes, data governance, and big data technologies.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support data integration and processing needs
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
- Develop and implement ETL processes to ingest data from various sources
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data for analytics and reporting
- Implement and maintain data governance policies and best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance
- Support data-driven initiatives by providing timely and accurate data access
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems
- Stay up to date with emerging data technologies and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data systems
- Lead efforts to continuously improve data infrastructure and processes
- Collaborate with IT and business units to align data initiatives with organizational goals
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in data engineering, with focus on building and maintaining data pipelines
- Skills in Azure environment, Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse Analytics
- Strong experience in SQL
- Experience in developing and implementing ETL processes
- Strong background in data architecture and big data technologies
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality management principles
- Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English language proficiency
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, SQL)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
