Responsibilities For Lead Construction Engineer - Mechanical
- Oversee and manage all mechanical construction activities, ensuring installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversight on-site mechanical installations, ensuring equipment, materials, and methods align with industry standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, civil, and electrical teams
- Enforce HSE policies on-site, establishing and promoting a safety-first culture
- Review and approve mechanical drawings, installation plans, and equipment layouts
- Develop and monitor detailed schedules and resource plans for mechanical activities
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with mechanical standards
- Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and cost analyses
- Resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems
- Oversee mechanical system testing and commissioning
Requirements For Lead Construction Engineer - Mechanical
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical construction within oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors
- At least 5 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Proficiency in engineering and construction software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera)
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and installation techniques
