Senior QA Engineer, HMI

Epic Games is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their Human Machine Interface (HMI) team, focusing on shaping the quality standard for the future of vehicle interfaces. This role involves working in a highly autonomous environment, collaborating with engineers, product teams, and QA teammates.

Key responsibilities include:

• Testing HMI-specific features on various automotive platforms
• Testing Unreal Engine on new automotive platforms
• Establishing QA and testing processes for the HMI team
• Developing tests, including automated test cases
• Conducting whitebox testing, technical testing, and assisting in debugging issues

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of QA experience and 1+ years of coding/scripting experience
• Expertise in creating automation test cases
• Experience testing UE on Android (or equivalent)
• Good understanding of Android Debug Bridge
• Willingness to learn UE profiling tools and flashing boards
• Knowledge in C++ (most desired) or Python, working with infrastructure or build farm teams, and Linux testing
