EpiSci is seeking an Autonomy Engineer to shape the future of tactical mission autonomy. As a vital member of the growing team, you'll have an immediate and transformative influence on next-gen technologies spanning defense, aerospace, and commercial domains. EpiSci specializes in artificial intelligence, autonomy algorithms, wireless communications, and digital signal processing to address national security challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing software for autonomous aircraft systems, including F16 fighter jets and UAVs
  • Implementing and improving state-of-the-art UAS autonomy algorithms
  • Building robotic autonomy software architectures for military missions
  • Supporting live flight tests and collaborating with UAS vehicle vendors
  • Working with domain experts and prior DoD warfighters

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field
  • 6+ years of experience developing software for autonomous robotic systems
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with Docker, Linux, and git
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. SECRET security clearance
