Description For Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

EpiSci is at the forefront of tactical mission autonomy, developing cutting-edge AI technologies for both defense and commercial applications. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing architecture for tactical autonomy software deployment at scale. The role combines deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure with the excitement of working on national security challenges.

The position offers an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. You'll be responsible for managing containerized applications, collaborating with DevOps teams, and ensuring security compliance with U.S. government requirements. The role requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure, with particular emphasis on AWS and AWS GovCloud.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to make a direct impact on national security while working with cutting-edge technology. The company's solutions are already being used in aircraft like the F-22 and F-16, and you'll be part of revolutionizing tactical communication systems and autonomous UAV operations.

The role offers competitive compensation between $100,000 - $190,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k with employer match, and learning stipends. While the position requires U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility, it provides unique exposure to both classified and commercial projects. The in-person work environment and occasional travel requirements ensure direct collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
