This role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a SECRET security clearance. The position involves 10-20% travel, with the option for relocation assistance to headquarters in Poway, CA. EpiSci offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $190,000, based on location and experience.

Responsibilities For Model Based Systems Engineer, Collaborative Autonomy

  • Design and build reference architectures for autonomy systems, mission systems, and weapon systems
  • Lead development of system engineering models and artifacts
  • Work with customers to refine stakeholder needs and deliver MBSE related products
  • Collaborate with government and industry partners to solve complex problems
  • Develop internal development processes and documentation
  • Brief customers, industry partners and senior leaders on MBSE developments

Requirements For Model Based Systems Engineer, Collaborative Autonomy

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science
  • 2+ years hands on experience in systems engineering with model-based tools
  • Experience with Cameo, Magic Draw, and Teamwork Cloud
  • Fluent with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  • SEMP/TEMP Development experience
  • Requirements Development/Traceability expertise
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. SECRET security clearance
