You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining software for 5G wireless communication systems, including RAN layers, UE stack development, and core network implementations.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software development experience, with deep expertise in wireless communications and 5G technologies. You'll need strong programming skills in C/C++, experience with USRP systems, and familiarity with SDR development frameworks like GNU Radio. Knowledge of OpenAirInterface5G and contribution to open-source communities is essential.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000-$180,000, based on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and equity opportunities. The role is hybrid, with approximately 25% travel required.

Responsibilities For Senior 5G Software Engineer

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for 5G wireless communication systems

Requirements For Senior 5G Software Engineer

  • Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
  • Experience with software implementation of 5G NR, LTE, or other wireless communication standards
  • Experience with Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) systems
  • Experience with GNU Radio and SDR development
  • Experience with OpenAirInterface5G
  • Strong programming skills in C and C++
  • Deep understanding of 5G architectures and protocols
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, or other network simulators
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time
