The position involves designing and implementing cloud-based architecture that enables the delivery of tactical autonomy software at scale. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and various cloud platforms, with AWS being the preferred environment. The role requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure and basic scripting languages, with at least 2 years of experience in the field.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing containerized applications, collaborating with DevOps and autonomy engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with U.S. government requirements. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $190,000 annually and requires U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

  • Design, operate, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications deployment across commercial cloud, U.S. government networks, and client networks
  • Manage release process for Kubernetes-native, containerized software applications using microservices approach
  • Collaborate with DevOps and autonomy engineering teams to identify and meet cloud infrastructure requirements
  • Work with cybersecurity & compliance engineers to implement regulatory requirements across cloud environments
  • Implement cloud cost accounting and control measures

Requirements For Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Kubernetes
Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure and basic scripting
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native applications
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
  • Experience with security/regulatory controls and vulnerability patching
  • Experience with Linux distributions
  • Experience with major cloud providers (AWS preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. SECRET security clearance
  • Willing to travel (~10% of time)
  • On-site 5 days/week
