Senior Cloud Security Engineer

EQ Bank is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to lead their cloud security initiatives. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security tools while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of information security experience, with at least 2 years in Cloud Security.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deploying and maintaining cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP, EASM, Kubernetes Security Scanning)
• Designing secure cloud infrastructure solutions
• Providing advisory services on cloud and infrastructure security
• Responding to escalations and incidents in cloud environments
• Developing and maintaining cloud security documentation
• Staying current with cloud security trends and technologies
• Leading cloud security initiatives to enhance the bank's security posture
• Creating Policy as Code, Infrastructure as Code, and HELM charts
• Automating processes using Python, PowerShell, and Bash

Required skills and qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree (Bachelor of Computer Science preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and HELM charts
• In-depth experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
• Understanding of PCI, NIST, MCSB, HIPPA, ISO 27k
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
