Responsibilities For Lead Software Engineer
- Plan and Manage the technology delivery of one or more projects/new products
- Partner with Project Managers and Product Owners to lead the Pod team
- Co-facilitate Agile ceremonies
- Coordinate with shared service teams for production releases
- Collaborate with Technology Directors & Architecture on high-level architecture
- Measure build progress, velocities, trends and quality
- Identify and resolve impediments across Technology teams
- Drive continuous improvements within the Pod delivery
Requirements For Lead Software Engineer
- Minimum 7 years' experience in financial services industry
- Solid programming skills with Spring-based applications
- Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree
- Familiar with Atlassian tools, including JIRA workflow
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Hands-on problem solving skills
- Experience working in a highly collaborative and customer-centric environment
