Description For On-site Quality Engineer

ERG, a distinguished research and consulting firm, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work with a company that provides comprehensive support to federal, state, and commercial clients through multidisciplinary teams with nationally recognized expertise.

The position is based in Indian Head, MD, with interaction and support from ERG personnel in Chantilly and Arlington, Virginia offices. As a Quality Engineer, you'll be instrumental in supporting quality management efforts in an ISO 9001:2015-compliant energetics and chemical manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will span from reviewing technical documentation to implementing quality control measures and leading team initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience and a strong educational background in engineering or science. You'll be working in a dynamic environment where you'll manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating across departments. Your expertise in quality engineering principles, statistical process control, and ISO 9001:2015 standards will be essential for success in this role.

ERG offers an attractive compensation package starting from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing, educational benefits, and generous paid time off. Requirements For On-site Quality Engineer

  • Expert knowledge of quality engineering principles
  • Ability to evaluate root cause problems
  • Knowledge of statistical process control
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Ability to conduct quality process audits
  • Ability to read and interpret technical requirements
