ERG, a distinguished research and consulting firm, is seeking a Principal U.S. Navy Facilities Design Engineer Subject Matter Expert to join their team. This role combines extensive technical expertise with leadership responsibilities in the Department of Defense (DoD)/U.S. Navy facility design and construction domain.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, requiring weekly on-site meetings. The role involves collaborating with a diverse team of professionals across various locations, including Arlington, VA, and Indian Head, MD.

As a Subject Matter Expert, you'll lead design teams in modernizing and constructing state-of-the-art facilities for research, development, testing, and evaluation of energetics and explosives ordnance. Your expertise in DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NAVSEA Instructions, and building codes will be crucial in ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of experience, demonstrating mastery across multiple engineering disciplines including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, fire protection, and civil engineering.
