Eriez Flotation Division (EFD) is seeking a Metallurgist / Process Engineer specializing in Flotation to join their team in Welshpool, Western Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of groundbreaking mineral processing technologies.

As a Metallurgist with Eriez, you'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of metallurgical innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-house and on-site test programs, pioneering new methodologies
  • Performing deep metallurgical testing and analysis to uncover insights that drive progress
  • Supporting process engineering teams during on-site commissioning
  • Assisting with pilot plant equipment installations at customer sites
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the mining industry as a Metallurgist
  • Experience in Froth flotation and gold leaching processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment for sample preparation and metallurgical testing
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and AutoCAD
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and a valid driver's license
