The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Research and Development Engineering team. This role focuses on researching, designing, and developing electro-magnetic machine products from concept to release.

As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading the development of new products, performing complex electromagnetic analysis, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities For R&D Electrical Engineer

  • Define research and development steps from concept to product release
  • Perform electro-magnetic machine design analysis and engineering calculations
  • Create control schematics using AutoCAD
  • Evaluate equipment performance in lab, production, and field environments
  • Evaluate product lines for third party certification
  • Develop documentation for engineering, sales, manufacturing, and customers
  • Supervise technical staff on R&D projects
  • Present project progress reports to management
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities and field installations

Requirements For R&D Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent engineering field
  • 6+ years experience in electromagnetic controls and machines design
  • Knowledge of electrical machine design and power electronics
  • Experience with PLC and HMI programming
  • Experience with electrical/magnetic equipment control design
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Demonstrated creativity for cost-effective engineering solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
