Event IT Systems Engineer

As a full-time Systems Engineer in the Event IT department, you will be responsible for the detailed planning and execution of our events worldwide - on-site and remotely. You'll join a team of passionate coworkers and support ESL and Dreamhack productions with your expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Researching and analyzing IT solutions
• Building/configuring and testing various infrastructures
• Supporting leading esports productions
• Leading projects
• Developing and documenting standard processes and procedures
• Working with other teams in the company

The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, one of our global production hubs.

Key responsibilities:

• Directly involved in preparing and managing IT infrastructure at ESL events, productions & studios
• Gathering requirements, performing venue scouting, and planning infrastructure
• Network implementation and monitoring, PC imaging/troubleshooting, cloud/local VM services, and general IT support
• Frequent traveling to set up and support global esports events
• Maturing and developing IT standards and processes
• Documenting systems, policies, procedures, and configurations
