The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is seeking a Protocol Security Engineer to join their mission of supporting and securing the Ethereum ecosystem. This role combines deep technical expertise in cybersecurity with the opportunity to work on one of the most influential blockchain platforms in the world.

As a Protocol Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of securing the Ethereum protocol, working with cutting-edge technology and some of the brightest minds in the ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include conducting manual audits of the Ethereum software stack, developing fuzzers for the p2p networking layer, and performing critical security research.

Responsibilities For Protocol Security Engineer

  • Secure the Ethereum protocol
  • Manually audit the Ethereum software stack including Execution Layer and Consensus Layer clients
  • Write fuzzers for the Ethereum protocol's p2p networking layer
