The Lead AI Engineer (Applied Scientist) role, based in our Palo Alto office, reports directly to the Cofounder and CTO. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies' legal and risk departments, developing enterprise-grade software using cutting-edge Generative AI. The role involves creating cloud-agnostic solutions, maintaining security standards, and building scalable platforms for enterprise applications.
Key responsibilities include deploying production-grade AI models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, handling complex datasets, and mentoring AI Engineers. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience, advanced degree in relevant fields, and expertise in LLMs, RAGs, and ML frameworks.

Responsibilities For Lead AI Engineer (Applied Scientist)
- Build, train, and deploy production-grade models with focus on scalability and efficiency

- Define success metrics for AI models and monitor performance
- Mentor a team of AI Engineers
Requirements For Lead AI Engineer (Applied Scientist)
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science
- Proficiency in LLMs, RAGs, evaluation techniques, and ML frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ML services
- Strong problem-solving skills in AI/ML model issues
