Fullstack Engineer

As a Fullstack Engineer at Eventual, you will be an early member of the team with primary responsibilities around building out key features for our open-sourced data engine, Daft. You will work on core features across the entire stack, from the Daft frontend API and dashboard to its distributed scheduler and low-level Rust execution engine.

Our goal is to build the world's best open-source distributed query engine, and your work will play a key role in realizing that vision. As a young startup, you should be prepared to wear many hats, including tinkering with infrastructure, talking to customers, and participating heavily in the core design process of our product.

We are looking for candidates with:

1. 3+ years of experience in fullstack engineering (web applications, cloud infrastructure, databases, etc.)
2. A unique startup growth mindset to responsibly take on tech debt for velocity while building for future extensibility
3. Familiarity and experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS S3)
