Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at EvenUp, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our data infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Democratizing data at EvenUp, ensuring consistent and standardized access to data stores
• Architecting and building out the future of data warehousing
• Enabling the Data Science team to rapidly iterate on model experimentation
• Designing and refining data storage strategies to reduce development friction
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve critical data problems
• Growing the Analytics team and fostering a "data first" mentality

We're looking for candidates with:

• Extensive professional data engineering experience
• Previous experience in building data warehousing, pipelines, and internal analytics
• Strong understanding of data tooling, BI tools, and systems like DBT, BigQuery, Elasticsearch
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally and architect scalable solutions
• Several years of industry experience in building high-quality software and shipping production-ready code
• A passion for owning projects from start to finish
• Interest in making the world a fairer place
